Brief Network Delays in Arkansas Union and Other Buildings
Network maintenance is scheduled from 7 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 30, to migrate the BAND distribution switches to the new campus firewall. During the maintenance, there will be a brief delay in network traffic in the buildings relying on those switches (bit.ly/2pStVvt).
BASIS and webBASIS Unavailable During Maintenance
BASIS and webBASIS will be unavailable from 2 to 3 a.m. on Sunday, May 14, during maintenance to the Mainframe.
Brief Network Delays in Resident Halls
Network maintenance is scheduled from 7 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 14, to migrate the RESNET distribution switches to the new campus firewall. During the maintenance, there will be a brief delay in network traffic in the buildings relying on those switches (bit.ly/2oWcLjh).
UARK Guest Wi-Fi Briefly Unavailable
Network maintenance is scheduled from 7 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 21, to migrate guest wireless networks to the new campus firewall. During the maintenance, there will be a 5-10 second delay for UARK Guest Wi-Fi. The Athletics Media Wireless Network will also be unavailable during this maintenance.
Internet Unavailable in Uptown Buildings
Network maintenance will be performed from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 21, to prepare Uptown East and Uptown West to migrate to private IP space. During maintenance, internet access will be unavailable for up to 30 minutes in those buildings.

Brief Power Outages Planned for ADSB Generator Repairs
Facilities Management will perform planned maintenance from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 23, to make repairs to the ADSB generator. During the maintenance, there will be several brief power outages. Data Center equipment will remain online with backup power, but in the event of an unexpected issue, university online services could be unavailable until power is restored. Other equipment without backup power stored in ADSB will be affected.

Network maintenance is scheduled from 7 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 23, to migrate the ADSB and WCOB distribution switches to the new campus firewall. During the maintenance, there will be a 5-10 second delay in network traffic in the buildings relying on those switches (bit.ly/2pOtmTv). In some residence halls, students may notice a brief disruption to internet access of up to 10 minutes for wired connections only. Wireless devices will not be affected. Report any unexpected connection issues at askit.uark.edu.

SharePoint maintenance is scheduled from 6 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 22. During maintenance, all SharePoint sites will be unavailable for less than 5 minutes.

Exchange Public Folders Unavailable for up to 24 Hours
Exchange public folder maintenance is scheduled from 5 p.m. Friday, April 21, to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 22, to migrate public folders to the cloud. During maintenance, public folders will be unavailable for up to 24 hours.

Internet Access Affected by Network Maintenance
Network maintenance will be performed from 7 to 11 a.m. Sunday, April 16, to migrate several buildings to the new campus firewall. The maintenance will cause brief delays for internet connections in most campus buildings, including buildings relying on distribution switches in ADMN, ADSB, BAND and BELL, as well as other buildings including Barnhill Arena, Baum Stadium, Bud Walton Arena, Football Office, Fowler House, Global Campus, Silas H. MyDocs, Gizmo, SharePoint, OmniUpdate, Other Services Briefly Interrupted
Routine Windows Server maintenance will be performed from midnight to 8 a.m. Saturday, April 15. During the maintenance, the following services will be briefly interrupted: SharePoint, Gizmo, MyDocs, Perceptive Content, Campus Directory, Newswire, OmniUpdate, some university websites, SQL Server and WWW1.
